Works in progress by Michael Calandra

"Forever"

 I used a combination of models for this one.

We wanted to capture the look and feel of my painting "Always"

1-Commission piece. The client loved my painting "Always"  and we are duplicating the look with a bit of a different theme.
2-First stages. I am using transparent paint and slowly starting to layer color. It will go darker, but I need to start light and build it up.
4-This photo is for a step by step article I am doing for Art Scene International. I used a liquid frisket and a brush to paint over the large feather and the lilies in front of her leg. This way no paint covers them, since I want them to stay really white. I can now spray paint right over the yellowish liquid frisket. I start with flesh tone base
 
-Here I spray right over liquid frisket. After I painted her skin tone, I go over it with payne's gray to paint the sheer fabric over her leg. It covers just like the fabric would. Once this is done, I can peel off the liquid frisket mask and the areas underneath will be pure white.
I am working on the ivy in the background. I also added the lilies and started punching up the wings a bit more.
I worked on her boots and shot a video tutorial for this step

"Forever" 

I used a combination of models for this one. Mostly my great friend and collaborator Seffana, but also, this is a commission for a someone, and his girlfriend was also a model. We wanted to capture the look and feel of my painting "Always"

The first Official Seffana Website opened !

Dear visitor,

 

This is the introduction of the first official website of the model Seffana.

This website was created and designed by Interlogistique support with the official and registered name WWW.SEFFANA.NET and have all the property rights.

 

This site is divided on two parts. The first contains the pictures with the biggest photographers and called PORTFOLIO. And the second contains the ARTWOKS of the greatests Artists of all time!
